Dutch beaver symposium

On Tuesday, November 3, STOWA, the Mammal Society, ProRail, the Union of Water Authorities, and the IPO are organizing the annual Beaver Symposium, this time at Omnia in Wageningen. During this day, we will once again update each other on the latest insights regarding beavers. With their digging, gnawing, and building talents, beavers create both positive effects on nature and people, as well as pose serious challenges. By understanding even better what beavers do and why, we can devise smart solutions that limit the risks of damage while simultaneously allowing people and nature to benefit.
